ABOUT US

Jesus Charities is a Divinely inspired mission for redeeming the broken lives of the destitute children through the love of Christ and for being a refuge for the rugged lives of old people. Jesus' charities is mentored and run by Sis. Y.S. Sharmila Reddy.

Mission-cum-Purpose:

The primary mission of JESUS CHARITIES is to serve the needs of the destitute children and to equip them with the skills, knowledge, opportunity and self assertiveness required for them to live independently in society as opposed to poor children entering adulthood surviving on hand outs. The essential needs include nutrition, education, parental love, security, Spiritual guidance and opportunity for a brighter future.

JESUS CHARITIES is a refuge for the old age people and the poorest of the poor.

The entire JESUS CHARITIES mission strives to provide real hopes, dreams and plans for the future of the poor children. "Jesus Charities" is intended to serve as a "Home for the Young and Old" offering parental support that the children lost through the unfortunate circumstances.

"Home for the Young and Old" redeems the plight of the unprivileged children into a royal generation by establishing many more Homes (for the Young and Old) where they receive a parental and godly upbringing.

JESUS' CHARITIES - Home for the Young and Old currently supports 38 children in Pulivendula, Kadapa, India. Together we are the doors of hope for the poor homeless children & their community

JESUS CHARITIES has the following objectives in fulfilling its mission:

1. Provision of basic needs of shelter, food, security and health care for the children.

BIBLICAL INSPIRATION

All children have no same privileges. Some born in pampering palaces, some in painful poverty. Some don’t need to dream, some dare not to dream.

The latter are deprived of parental love, nutrition, education and dreams. Jesus interrupted this sorrowful saga and embraced such children. James said that caring the destitute children and widows is the purest expression of Christian Love.(James 1:27)

In the Bible, a godly man Mordecai, raised an orphan girl with the love of Christ and eventually God raised her to royalty as a queen and Mordecai became Prime Minister. The sinful world treats them as rubbish, but “Jesus' Charities” determined to transform them as Rubies by raising them as a royal generation in the footprints of saints in the Bible.

"A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation." ( Psalm 68:5 )

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." ( Matthew 25:35 ) "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. ( Matthew 18:5 )

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."(Matthew 19:14) And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
( Isaiah 58:10 )

And Jesus took the children in his arms, put his hands on them, and blessed them." (Mark 10:16)
